Stand-Out Stars Stay Spexy at SAG Awards
Award season is still underway, as a star-studded group swarmed the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles for the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards Sunday evening. As usual, A-listers decked themselves out in their finest attire—glitzy gowns for the ladies and sleek suits for the gentlemen—to honor their peers for stand-out performances and acting prowess. Although flattering introductions and heartfelt acceptance speeches dominated the show, we were on the lookout for something else…eyewear, duh!
Guys and gals alike added pizzazz to their gorgeous getups with none other than specs and sunnies. Traditional rectangular silhouettes were quite popular among celebs like Ed O’Neill and Rico Rodriguez of “Modern Family,” as well as “Mad Men” genius John Slattery and the hilarious Rainn Wilson of “The Office.” Meanwhile, the oh-so-spexy Taye Diggs and gifted filmmaker Jo Andres kept their looks classy with delicate round frames. And Liev Schreiber and “Breaking Bad” actor RJ Mitte brought drama to the red carpet in blacked-out, modernized wayfarer shades. Check out what other famous folks played up their peepers below:
