With the holidays right around the corner, your schedule is probably booked solid with lots of celebratory parties! Whether it’s a fancy gala, a wild bash or just a casual get-together, you’ll want to look your absolute best at all of your joyous shindigs. So check out my favorite merrymaking outfits below—with matching specs and sunnies that truly put the finishing touch on each ensemble—for some fashionably festive inspiration!

Glam Soiree

When dressing for a swankier occasion, it’s key to keep your look elegant while adding touches of spirited flair. Debonair gents ought to opt for a slim-fit black suit and shined dress shoes, with a colorful tie and metallic clip, and a quirky pocket square for added oomph. Sleek square silver aviators by Randolph Engineering and crystal clear specs by Original Penguin are sure to boost the dapper factor.

Meanwhile, luxe ladies will look splendid in a bright red lace frock with a gold underlay, paired with shimmery heels, a chic clutch and glitzy earrings. Cherry-hued frames with gold accents from GUESS and Laura Ashley will bring the sparkle to your eyes.

Very Merry Blowout

A crazy night out calls for equally fun garb that’s kept in check with more traditional pieces. Guys can play up a classic sweater, white button-down combo and simple gray pants with a bright striped tie, a trendy watch and offbeat buckled loafers. Two-toned sea blue POLICE eyeglasses and industrially modernized Marc Jacobs aviators are perfect additions to this look.

Gals, don’t be afraid to go bold with metallic finishes! A black and sparkly gold dress, a glittery clutch and a gem-encrusted statement necklace will do the trick, and super high-heeled black booties and stockings will elongate your gorgeous legs. Have fun with your eyewear too—L’Wren Scott cat-eyes with floating lenses and gold brow bar detailing, and chunky ombré PRADA glasses are great choices!

Relaxed Affair

Just because you’re off to a low-key gathering doesn’t mean you can’t spice things up when it comes to your clothing! Men can add a pop of color to a basic plaid shirt under a vest with forest green chinos, and an auburn belt and oxfords. Wood-inspired Superdry frames and geek chic round tortoise Converse shades are cool pairings!

Likewise, women will look effortlessly stylish in a pleated high-waisted skirt with a striped emerald collared blouse. Patent leather ankle boots, a messenger bag and crystal stud earrings, not to mention matching green bebe sunglasses and rounded Clubmaster-inspired Scott Harris Vintage eyeglasses, flawlessly accessorize the look.
