Bringing Spexy Back with Fashion’s Media Mavens
Today marks one week since we hosted our fabulous spring eyewear soirée, and we must admit, we’ve still got seasonal specs appeal on the brain! Dozens of fashion’s media mavens swarmed our seriously chic event space last Friday, March 28, at International Vision Expo East—a.k.a. the complete eyecare event where hundreds of exhibitors gather to experience all the industry has to offer—with one frame-tastic goal in mind: to bring spexy back, of course!
Eyewear-lovin’ editors, reporters and bloggers from renowned outlets—like O, The Oprah Magazine, People, Travel + Leisure, Redbook, Lucky, Good Housekeeping, Real Simple and Women’s Wear Daily, just to name a few—had the exclusive opportunity to get a sneak peek of the must-have trends for the warmer months, represented by specs and sunnies from show exhibitors. Featuring frames with the hottest hues, look-at-me lenses, captivating silhouettes and intricate detailing, our booth was truly a one-stop shop for all things fashion eyewear. And that’s not all. To boot, we even showed off sporty, boutique-inspired, limited edition, newly branded and statement-making glasses and shades. A super savvy optician was also on hand to answer questions and offer up face-fitting tips!
After hanging out with us, style’s elite hit the show floor to embark on our social media challenge. With a specially designed map in tow, attendees were on the prowl for the top trends at participating exhibitors’ booths, Tweeting their findings using Twitter handle @Eyecessorize and official hashtag #EyecessorizeTrendSpotter! All in all, we’d say it was an affair to remember!
