Lawrence Zarian Talks Summer Sunwear Musts

To kick off the hottest season of the year, style expert and Eyecessorize spokesperson Lawrence Zarian, aka LZ, made exclusive appearances on broadcast media stations across the country today to talk summertime sunwear musts! As the temperature rises and the sun keeps on shinin’, it’s no wonder peeps take their activities and fun events outdoors. But LZ is here to remind you, and the rest of the country, that you’ve gotta wear shades during your open-air pursuits—and not just in the warmer months, but all year round, as those dangerous UV rays are always at play!

It’s truly a shame that, according to The Vision Council’s UV report, 40 percent of American adults don’t wear sunglasses outside—let’s change that! After all, the sun’s UV rays can do major damage to your eyes. By simply wearing shades with broad spectrum UV protection—from a reputable shop (no street vendors please!)—you can reduce your risk of getting unwelcome crow’s feet, sunburnt eyes, macular degeneration, cataracts and cancer. Seriously, who wouldn’t want to do that? And polarized lenses are also a plus, as they ward off irritating glare.

To boot, you don’t have to give up fashion for protection. LZ is all about staying safe and on trend. Check out his fave summer sunnies—especially oversized and wraparound styles that offer the most coverage—that’ll keep your peepers protected. And with so many frames to ogle over, how could you choose just one pair? Opt for multiple pairs to go with your ever-changing lifestyle!

Be sure to check out a video clip of LZ working his magic on camera, and hit up Eyecessorize.com to get a complete run-down of the frames featured on air, including pricing and availability for each style!

Women’s

Summer is the perfect time for ladies to boost their looks with splashes of vibrant color. Go for sunnies in neon and pastel tones, bright blues and greens, and even whites and neutrals, not to mention gradient and mirrored lenses in rosy pinks and purples. All kinds of silhouettes—from retro rounds and cat-eyes, to wayfarers and Clubmaster-inspired shapes—are trending, with bold browlines, floral prints, embellishments, metallic accents and ombre colorations adding dashes of ladylike glam.

A palette of aqua to royal blues and tortoise patterns, with hints of crystal effects, gives way to dashingly masculine appeal. Meanwhile, varying profiles run the gamut, with classic and modified aviators, dapper rounds, sharp and soft squares, and sporty styles proving to be top picks this season.
